Security - Precinct Traffic and Transport Security ManagerLevel 1M/40, 44 Driver Ave, Moore Park NSW 2021, Australia Req #158Tuesday, 1 April 2025Venues NSW is a commercially focused agency of the NSW Government, encompassing the Sydney Cricket Ground and Allianz Stadium as well as major sporting and cultural stadiums and precincts in Sydney, Olympic Park, Parramatta, Newcastle and Wollongong. The network of stadiums and entertainment centres hosts in excess of 5 million people a year at more than 500 events and is a key contributor to the economy.Venues NSW takes an integrated approach to our stadia and entertainment centres by developing partnerships with sporting codes, the entertainment and event industry, audiences, local businesses, NSW Government agencies and community groups. Our network throughout NSW allows us to combine internal resources and harness a vast employee skillset, all of which helps us deliver key projects and secure outstanding content.ABOUT THE ROLEThe role involves representing Venues NSW with key external stakeholders, including emergency services and government agencies, while promoting effective leadership within the Security team and maintaining accountability to VNSW values. It includes fostering strong relationships with other departments and contractors, ensuring customer satisfaction, and leading the Emergency Control Organisation (ECO) when needed. The position also requires developing and overseeing transport and precinct plans for Sydney venues, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, and managing traffic and logistics services. Additionally, the role includes budget forecasting for precinct requirements, overseeing car park operations, preparing analytical reports and risk assessments, and managing traffic and parking incidents during events. Coordinating with external stakeholders and enforcing guidelines is a key aspect of this role, ensuring that compliance and safety for both patrons and employees are maintained as the top priority.ABOUT YOUYou will have at least 3 years of operational experience, with demonstrated leadership, emergency, and precinct management. You will have a natural ability to create strong rapport with internal and external stakeholders, driving the Venues NSW''s values and strategies.Cert IV in Security Risk ManagementValid Security License Class 1AE and 2A (2A is highly desirable for this role)Understanding of relevant legislation, including but not limited to the NSW Security Industry Act, Liquor Act, the Inclosed Lands Protection Act, Sporting Venues Authorities Act, and associated regulations.Please note: Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents to be considered and will be required to undertake a National Police Clearance check.
