We are seeking a skilled professional to lead the delivery of key Capital Works projects, ensuring high-quality infrastructure outcomes that benefit residents and stakeholders alike.About the RoleIn this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of Capital Works projects, from planning and design through to procurement, construction, and completion. You will oversee project budgets, stakeholder engagement, contractor performance, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage project plans, ensuring all permits and approvals are secured.Oversee the tendering, procurement, and management of infrastructure projects.Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.Engage with internal teams, government agencies, and community stakeholders.Provide technical input into project design, documentation, and contract management.Monitor project risks, budgets, and reporting requirements.Uphold Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) and environmental compliance.Key CriteriaWe are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional with:A relevant tertiary qualification and/or extensive experience in project management.A proven track record in managing Capital Works and infrastructure projects.Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and communication skills.Experience in contractor supervision and project budgeting.Knowledge of AutoCAD and other design/project management software.A valid Victorian driving licence.Why Join Us?Contribute to meaningful projects that shape the future of the community.Work within a collaborative and supportive public sector team.Enjoy a balanced work-life environment in the scenic East Gippsland region.What you need to do nowIf you''re interested in this role, click ''apply now'' or forward an up-to-date copy of your CV to Josh.Richardson@hays.com.au #J-18808-Ljbffr
