We believe in fairness and choose to be honest, transparent and authentic in everything we do.Key Responsibilities:Follow directions from tradespersons and leadersAdhere to workplace, health and safety site standardsActively participate and engage in external trainingSafely assist tradespeople to execute electrical maintenanceAssist in maintaining statutory electrical inspections and records as required by WMAAssist in performing fault finding and repairs of electrical systems and equipmentComplete inspections to identify faults and raise quality notifications in SAP PM for repairsIsolate equipment for maintenance requirementsComplete quality handovers with oncoming shifts and other maintenance teams including contractorsJob Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:Self-starter with a motivated work attitudeHSC or IB with strong results in Mathematics and Science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Certificate II in Electrotechnology is a plus.Excellent communication skills verbal and writtenProficiency in calculating figures such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry concepts, and handle problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situationsProficiency in MS Office SuiteSAP and Rapid Global contractor management system experience is desirableAbility to work in demanding physical and environmental conditions, including lifting, climbing, working at heights, confined spaces, heat, and adverse weather.
