Our interstate trucking services cover the domestic legs of international airfreight operations, driving between all the major cities from our hubs in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Coolangatta, Perth and Adelaide.As a Long Distance Driver, you will be responsible for driving heavy vehicles between airports across Australia, transporting B-double trailer configurations. This role primarily involves changeover work with our Melbourne driver in Tarcutta, though you may occasionally be required to drive directly to Melbourne or Adelaide when needed.Youll work on a 7-day rotating roster, with nightly departures typically no later than 7:00pm, completing the changeover and returning back to Melbourne the same day.If you are an experienced MC Long Distance driver seeking a role with less traveling and better work-life balance, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.To be successful in this position youll have:A MC drivers licenceExperience delivering freight throughout the Sydney region and beyondFlexibility to work a rotating roster and the ability to work night shiftsA clean driving recordHigh attention to detail and focus on safety.Eligibility to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)Qantas is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing a working environment that embraces and values diversity and inclusion.
