Whether were working individually or as a group, we challenge ourselves to make progress and deliver results.Located in our Ground Support team, your role as a Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Technician will see you upholding all maintenance - both corrective and preventative, on motorised and non-motorised vehicles and equipment. You will also be responsible for using the IFS Maintenance system to capture maintenance activities.You will be working in a fast-paced environment with a range of stakeholders across engineering, airports and freight ensuring service level agreements are met with the highest standard of safety and compliance.Youll have -A trade certificate in Automotive Mechanical / Electrical Maintenance trade certificate or equivalent (Heavy Stream Preferred)Trade experience with heavy diesel vehicles is highly desirableDiagnostic and repair skills with an understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems is desirable, but not essentialCommitment to being customer focused with flexibility and willingness to undertake other reasonable duties as requiredFamiliarity with ground service equipment e.g. Pushback tugs, aircraft loaders, pallet loaders etc.High risk license, Forklift license, Welding and Elevatored Work Platform (EWP) tickets are desirableAbility to commit to a Monday-Friday day shift roster (0600-1430)Demonstrated high levels of ethical/behaviour standards and self-disciplineProven experience in a similar roleDedicated to maintaining safe work practices and environmentWhy Qantas?Youll join a team where creativity and passion are encouraged.
