In this role, you will be responsible for operating a counterbalance forklift in a cold storage environment, ensuring efficient stock management and supporting the smooth operation of our warehouse.Key Responsibilities:Operate a counterbalance forklift to manage stock in a cold storage environment.Ensure the accurate loading, unloading, and placement of goods within the facility.Work collaboratively with a supportive team to maintain operations.Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.Monitor and report any maintenance issues or safety concerns related to the forklift or warehouse operations.Requirements:Must be comfortable working in a cold environment (freezer temperatures up to -20C).Ability to work efficiently and safely around pork products.Must not have worked for Americold in the past.Forklift must support a maximum weight of 120kg.Must have a valid full driver''s license and own transport.Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage physical tasks efficiently.Ability to work overtime as needed, including flexibility for Saturday shifts.Hours: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with overtime opportunities almost every day.Work environment: Cold storage/freezer areas with temperatures as low as -20C.You must have your own car and reliable transport to and from work.If you are a motivated and safety-conscious individual who thrives in a fast-paced, cold storage setting, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.Megan BellDelivery ConsultantManpowerGroup is committed to being a Diversity Confident Recruiter and encourages applications from people from a diverse range of backgrounds, including people with a disability.
