Explore more on Cubic.com.Job Details:Job Summary: Undertake operational support for instrumentation and associated equipment employed in support of training exercises. This includes training users on the use of the equipment, managing the equipment during deployment and redeployment, conducting basic maintenance and fitment of equipment. This position also requires the incumbent to undertake basic maintenance tasks on Cubics deployable facilities. This role will require the incumbent to spend significant time deployed in the field.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:Conduct operator level function checking of equipment assigned for use on training exercisesConduct minor operator level maintenance of equipmentRaise non-technical inspection reports to commence the maintenance process for damaged equipmentMaintain the cleanliness of the equipment, training facilities and vehicles used for exercise supportAssist the issue and receipt process for the instrumentationFit the instrumentation to the customers personnel and vehiclesTrain the customer in the operation of the instrumentationAssist the establishment and ongoing support of the contractor field accommodation during exercisesAssist in the reconstitution of field accommodation and associated ancillaries on return from an exercise periodAssist in the establishment and pack-up of deployable facilitiesAssist with preventative maintenance for all assetsAssist in system stocktaking and customer directed auditsFollow equipment Standard Operating ProceduresMay perform basic driving tasks at basesMay issue and receipt equipment utilising Cubics inventory management toolMay conduct battery management including charging and recharging of battery fleet, and preparation for exerciseMay collect and maintain data on battery health statisticsGeneral Duties and Responsibilities:Comply with Cubics Quality Management SystemComply with Cubic Occupational Health, Safety and Environment policies and proceduresComply with security in accordance with established policies and procedures of the organisationsComply with Cubic Human Resources ProceduresOther duties as requestedMinimum Job Requirements:Skills/Experience/Knowledge:Eligibility to obtain and hold an Australian Defence Industry security clearanceDesirable:Hold a current Construction White CardMedium Rigid drivers licenceForklift licenceExperience in audio stores or logisticsPersonal Qualities:Ability to work within a small, high performing teamAbility to travel as required and work outdoorsExcellent interpersonal skillsExcellent time management and organisational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh levels of customer support and service deliveryAbility to work in a high-volume environment whilst maintaining delivery and a high standard of serviceCondition of Employment:Successful outcome of a National Police CheckWorker Type:EmployeeAbout UsCubic creates and delivers technology solutions in transportation that make peoples lives easier by simplifying their daily journeys, and defense capabilities that help promote mission success and safety for those who serve their nation.
