Producing some of Australias favourite beverages, Tooheys is a New South Wales institution!Due to a recent internal movement, we are looking for a Permanent Full Time Mechanical Trade Specialist (Internal Job Title is Machine Specialist) to join us in Lidcombe!You will be responsible for ensuring the ongoing reliability of our packaging assets across our Tooheys Brewery. Working with an iconic brand, this role will support the delivery of production rates through minimising waste events related to machine efficiency on site.Our Brewery is also embarking on exciting new initiatives and projects. Some of these have already been brought to life including the use of automated vehicles to support the packaging process and harnessing new technologies to make our teams life at work easier our Brewery is more than just beer!The working hours are Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm with additional paid overtime.Some of the activities youll be doing in the role:Provide maintenance support to the equipment onsiteDevelop specialist technical skills in equipment and use those for troubleshooting and improvements with production teamsWork on some of the latest robotic and packaging technologies or sophisticated brewing processesSupervising contractors attending the site for equipment maintenanceChampion a safety-first culture across the BrewerySome of the skills you will bring:Any experience working on beverage, packaging, robotics or processing equipment would be highly regardedDecision-making in ambiguous situationsExperience within brewing, manufacturing or FMCG desirableWhat you get in return:Full training in the role and career development opportunitiesExperience and exposure to all departments on-site from one roleLearn how to run the day-to-day businessEmpowerment and ownership of your role end to endHere at Tooheys and Lion, we choose to be a leader in driving inclusion, diversity, and gender parity.
