We are excited to present an incredible opportunity for a Clinical and Laboratory Haematologist to join the Northern Cancer Service in Launceston as a Staff Specialist. This is a pivotal role, offering a combination of inpatient and outpatient care at the W.P. Holman Clinic in Launceston, along with outreach services to the North West Cancer Centre in Burnie and Mersey Community Hospital in Latrobe.As part of an integrated cancer service, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic and consultative services in adult haematology. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about clinical and laboratory work, with the chance to engage in teaching, research, and quality improvement initiatives.About the Role:Position: Full-time, permanent (76 hours per fortnight)Base Salary Range: $216,300 - $310,389 per annum (depending on experience)Additional Benefits:Fully maintained private plated vehicle or vehicle allowance ($28,389 per annum)Continuing Professional Development Allowance ($16,480 per annum)Private Patient Allowance (35% of base salary)Relocation package and accommodation allowance availableKey Responsibilities:Provide diagnostic and consultative services for inpatient and outpatient adult haematology care.Contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programs.Engage in clinical research and quality improvement activities.Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and clinical trials.Eligibility Requirements:Hold the FRACP - HaematologyRACP Advanced Trainees in Haematology eligible for fellowship within 6 months.Specialist training assessed by FRACP and found to be substantially comparable.IMGs who are eligible for assessment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
