We offer a range of exciting new services to the rapidly changing legal education market.About the RoleWere looking for a strategic and innovative leader to drive our legal education programs. As Director of Education Strategy and Design, youll play a key role in shaping programs that are impactful, practical, and aligned with industry expectations. Youll work closely with legal practitioners, law firms, regulatory bodies, and professional associations to deliver learning experiences that equip legal practitioners with the skills they need to succeed.This role is about more than just program designits about leading a team, engaging with stakeholders, and retaining our position as a leader in legal education. In this role you will:Drive strategic curriculum design and developmentEnsure compliance with accreditation standardsLeverage innovative technologies and methodologiesLead and mentor a dynamic teamIdentify opportunities to expand our educational offeringsBuild and maintain strategic partnershipsManage budgets and identify revenue opportunitiesAbout YouYou are an experienced education professional with a strong background in innovative instructional design, curriculum development, and adult learning. Ideally, you also have at least five years of experience in law, giving you insight into the needs and challenges of legal professionals. Your expertise allows you to design and implement engaging and innovative programs that meet both educational best practices and industry expectations.You have a track record of leading teams, developing education strategies, and working with stakeholders to create impactful learning experiences. You understand accreditation standards, quality assurance, and how to leverage technology in legal education. Beyond program design, you bring commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, identifying revenue opportunities, and building strategic partnerships. Above all, you are passionate about advancing legal education and making a meaningful impact on the profession.Desired Skills and ExperienceIf youre ready to take the next step in your career and lead impactful legal education initiatives, wed love to hear from you if you can bring:A Bachelors or Masters degree in education, instructional design, educational leadership, or a related field.Extensive experience (5+ years) in education strategy, program design, curriculum development, or a related role, preferably within the NFP or education sector.A Bachelors degree in Law with a minimum of 5 years of legal practice experience.Demonstrated leadership experience, with a track record of developing and implementing innovative education strategies and initiatives.Demonstrated experience in leading and managing staff.Strong understanding of educational technologies, instructional design principles, and adult learning theory.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to translate data and insights into actionable strategies and plans.Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence key stakeholders at all levels.Strategic thinking, vision, and a commitment to advancing educational excellence and social impact.Demonstrated experience of managing budgets.How to ApplyApply by submitting your resume and cover letter addressing the selection criteria.For further information about the role please contact Gill Kelly, Head of People and Culture on 03 8621 7827 #J-18808-Ljbffr
