Group Financial Controller Lead ERP Transformation for a Leading Manufacturing FirmOur client, a well-established manufacturing business, is seeking an experienced Group Financial Controller to play a key role in their transition to a new ERP system. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior finance professional to drive strategic financial initiatives while overseeing a team of five direct reports.About the RoleReporting to the Executive Team, the Financial Controller will be responsible for the overall financial management of the business, including profit & loss and balance sheet oversight, statutory compliance, and strategic financial leadership. A key focus of this role will be leading the transition to a new ERP system, ensuring a smooth and efficient implementation.Key Responsibilities:Lead the finance team, ensuring high performance and operational efficiency.Oversee financial reporting, management accounting, and strategic financial analysis to drive business improvements.Provide financial, accounting, and commercial leadership as a key member of the Executive Team.Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (ATO, ASIC, payroll, superannuation, WorkCover, etc.).Manage quarterly BAS, tax compliance, audit preparation, and statutory reporting.Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors, tax accountants, insurers, and banking partners.Oversee company secretarial duties, including shareholder relations and corporate governance.Administer and maintain the current ERP system while driving the transition to a new ERP platform.Manage government grant applications.Review and negotiate commercial contracts to support business objectives.Candidate Profile:The ideal candidate will have:Proven experience as a Financial Controller within a manufacturing environment.Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and mentoring finance teams.Expertise in ERP systems, particularly in system transitions or implementations.A deep understanding of accounting standards, taxation, and statutory compliance.A strategic mindset with a proactive approach to financial management and business improvement.Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience liaising with executives, auditors, and financial institutions.Whats on Offer?A senior leadership role within a well-established manufacturing business.The opportunity to lead a major ERP system transformation.A collaborative and forward-thinking work environment.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller to take on a key leadership role in a dynamic and evolving business.The closing date for applications on this position is 6th April #J-18808-Ljbffr
