We push boundaries through positive provocation and delivering impactful results for our clients.The TeamThe Strategy/Planning Department is responsible for conceptualising and designing solutions for client needs across mediums. Activities include collaborating with creative partners to oversee execution; liaising with account management to ensure client specifications are met. This job family group uses planning tools and research for intelligence, trends, and priorities for planning purposes.ResponsibilitiesWork hand in hand with Strategy Partner on all matters pertaining to idea generation, overall strategy development, and leading delivery.Ensure tools, research, strategy, and planning processes are at the forefront of current thinking.Lead the training and development of the agency in strategic thinking.Identify opportunities to engage with key senior clients and lead important projects with the support of the team.Build the strongest and deepest client relationships through best-in-class strategy.Maintain relationships with senior integration leads at media companies.Forge an inspiring relationship with data and analytics teams to uncover unique and powerful data-led & consumer insights.Ensure developed strategic direction has clear and well-articulated implications for media planning, and have a leading working knowledge of channel planning, linked primarily to an understanding of media effectiveness and marketing science.Collaborate with activation team members to ensure the strategic direction works with the channels planned and campaign execution ideas.Create a strong culture of teamwork and knowledge sharing within the team.Lead the packaging and sharing of great work.Win the right awards and generate appropriate trade press coverage for campaigns.ExperienceMastery level knowledge and skills within Strategy and Planning with a broad understanding of different communication disciplines (PR, sponsorship etc.) and how they work together.Requires a minimum of 8 years of experience.Relevant qualification in preferably post graduate.Experience leading Media Projects and working with outside agencies including creative and media.Working at WavemakerInclusive policiesFlexible work environmentInclusive parental leave policy that supports all parents and carers throughout their parenting and caring journey.Discounts and corporate benefitsContinuous training and development opportunitiesResearch shows that candidates from underrepresented backgrounds often don''t apply for roles if they don''t meet all the criteria.
