Every role in our SSN AUKUS team is helping to deliver essential sovereign capability for Australia.Recognised for delivering projects of global and national significance that help keep Australia safe, it is our shared passion that shapes our culture, and our people that make it a great place to work.About the OPPORTUNITYWe have an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Solution Lead Infrastructure to join our Maritime Business based at SA-Flinders Street or SA-Osborne Naval Shipyard.As a Facilities Solution Lead Infrastructure within the Maritime Business, you will be responsible for working with the design team to ensure that infrastructure is delivered to the technical, cost and schedule goals in accordance with the contractual and company requirements in order to deliver to our customers needs.Key responsibilities include:Coordinate the delivery of new facilities & infrastructure associated with the new Naval shipyard at Osborne SA.Establishment and maintenance of project plans ensuring clarity and traceability of project objectives, scope, assumptions, dependencies, risks and opportunities.Ensuring that the appropriate project governance and controls are in place to mature the project in accordance with agreed requirements whilst tracking safety, technical risk, cost and schedule performance.Interface with stakeholders (both local and international) to understand, document and address the facility & infrastructure needs through quality, value for money solutions.Managing the process of detailed requirements capture, options analysis and solution recommendations.Validation and acceptance of construction projects from prime contractors against project scope and user/business requirements.Overall accountability to deliver productive workspace which can be demonstrated to be fit for purpose, safe for operations, and enables efficient operations and maintenance.Handover process for the Built Environment(s) including ancillary property assets to future Shipyard Operations and Maintenance teams covering all technical and maintenance documentation, certifications, records and training.About YOUExperience in Construction and Facilities related Project Management with ability to manage multiple consecutive Facilities / Infrastructure Projects at any one time.Excellent Communication skills, stakeholder management and the ability to assemble and lead integrated project teams.Experience in whole of life facility planning design, construction, operation, maintenance, and disposal.Understanding of a variety of construction project procurement and contracting methodologies.Ability to balance conflicting priorities to deliver against stakeholder and business needs.Practical knowledge of Safety in Design, Product Safety principles to assure Built Environment safety file compilation and handover.A sensible and pragmatic attitude coupled with the ability to build and maintain excellent stakeholder relationships.We believe in hiring for potential, we know that some candidates hesitate if they dont tick all the boxes.
