Whether youve got deep experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades or technology, or youre looking to apply your relevant experience to a new industry, join our team as we help shape a brighter way forward.What this opportunity involves.As our Engineering & Operations Manager you will be responsible for the overall performance of two high quality commercial office buildings and the services that ensure safe operations and comfort to the occupants.This role will oversee the leadership of engineering services operations with a focus spanning sustainability, ongoing building operational improvements, strategic delivery of lifecycle asset planning, project management, through to the daily operation of all property services.A snapshot of the role.Establish and maintain a sound professional working relationship with our client.Ensure and manage compliance with all relevant statutory authorities and enact appropriate engineering practices in relation to maintenance of the property.Achieving Sustainability Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set in consultation with the Owner for the Properties on an annual basis.Coordinate efficient management of all property services and other works required to be carried out within the assets.Undertake periodic inspections of the buildings and plant and determine the extent, and priority of any repair works required.Providing supportive leadership to the Operations Supervisor.Ongoing management of all specialist contractors to ensure they comply with their contract terms and conditions and nominated scope of works.In collaboration with others, prepare annual property operations & capital works budgets and monitor and update budgets on a quarterly basis.Before you apply its worth knowing what we are looking for.Youll possess a strong understanding of base building facilities management with an emphasis on commercial assets.You enjoy taking the lead, are confident and able to work autonomously as well as in a team, and youre resilient in the face of challenges and thrive on solution finding.Is it essential you have superior communication skills both verbal and written and you maintain a positive approach to meeting clients needs whilst managing tenant expectations.What you can expect from us.Recognition benefits.Corporate discounts and offers.You Days.Health & Wellbeing programs.Learning & Development platforms.Paid time off for volunteer work.Premium offices.As an organisation, we dont just accept that we are a place of many different people, but we embrace it, we celebrate it, and we proactively support the needs that difference brings.
