Tableland Fertilizer is seeking a Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team based in Mareeba! Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will be involved in customer service, sales, picking, packing, receival, and dispatch of goods to and from the store.Full-time PositionMonday to Friday from 8am - 5pmEvery second Saturday from 8am - 12pmTasks and duties:Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales serviceLoading customer vehiclesProcess requests and prepare ordersSort and place items on shelves or in binsPrepare customer orders for dispatchCount inventory and record dataLoad and unload trucks and receive goodsInspect and report damage to goodsMove heavy pallets and goods using a forkliftMaintain a safe work environmentClean and tidy work area regularlyWhat we offer:An environment where good performance is recognised and rewardedA flexible and positive work environmentTo be successful, you will have:Forklift Licence or ability to obtainDrivers Licence is requiredCustomer service, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work well as part of a team and independentlyAttention to detail and high level organisational skillsGood written and verbal communicationAble to work quickly and methodicallyA safety-conscious attitude to your workTableland Fertilizer is a family-owned agricultural business with affiliation to CRT.
