Come and join our supportive and progressive team as we deliver on our vision:Noosa Shire different by natureThe OpportunityThis position will manage a broad range of Council capital works projects in line with the Capital Works Program.Vacancy DetailsPosition Status: Temporary Full Time (to 30 June 2027 with the possibility of an extension)Department: Infrastructure ServicesBranch: Infrastructure Planning, Design and DeliveryAdvertised: Internal and ExternalPosition Remuneration: Level 6.1 ($98,037 base annual salary) / ($111,279 total remuneration package which is based on a permanent full-time employee and inclusive of 12% employer superannuation and 17.5% leave loading).Closing Date: 11:59pm (AEST) Sunday, 6 April 2025About YouYou will have extensive experience in capital projects planning, design, delivery and project management.You will have the ability to select and exercise an appropriate range of analytical, problem-solving and investigative skills/techniques and develop actionable strategies and plans that will achieve outcomes in unstructured situations with only limited direction.Furthermore, you will have well-developed knowledge, or ability to quickly acquire, of current planning, strategic infrastructure issues and a broad understanding of the drivers of project development within the region.The position''s focus will be:Coordinate and manage civil infrastructure projects to ensure they meet quality standards and are delivered in a cost-effective and timely manner.Prepare and undertake project briefs, design management, procurement, contractor negotiation, contract management, financial administration, record keeping, and other tasks as required for the project coordination of Council civil infrastructure projects.Prepare and maintain project management plans to ensure projects are appropriately managed and monitored for risks and issues as they arise.Manage external consultants and assess the work completed by other professionals providing feedback and issue identification and management.
