You''ll collaborate across engineering, production, suppliers, and executive levels to deliver assurance and compliance in one of Australia''s most advanced military platforms.Your day-to-day might include:Embedding quality from day one: reviewing proposals, contracts, regulatory & customer requirementsCrafting and maintaining policies, procedures, and metrics to uphold AS9110, ISO9001, and regulatory expectationsDriving data analysis, root cause investigations, and proactive problem-solvingLeading supplier quality reviews and providing assurance support to business decisionsConducting hardware, software, and systems audits against standards and regulatory requirementsCollaborating across teams to uplift quality, safety, and continuous improvement cultureSupporting material review and dispositioning non-conforming partsWhat you''ll bring:Essential:5+ years'' experience in Quality Management Systems, aviation, engineering, or related fieldTertiary qualification in engineering, quality, or equivalent professional experienceStrong knowledge of ISO9001, AS9110, and practical applicationAnalytical problem-solver with data-driven decision-making capabilityAbility to influence, engage, and communicate with senior stakeholdersLead auditor qualifications or a willingness to obtain upon commencementResilient, hands-on mindset with the ability to prioritise in high-pressure environmentsAustralian Citizenship (eligible for Defence security clearance)Desirable:Experience working with Defence Aviation Safety Regulations (DASR) Parts 145, 21J, and familiarity with Part 21GConduct and familiarity in root cause analysis technique and methods (i.e. ICAM) and trend analysis of contributing factorsExposure to project management or leading cross-functional projectsFamiliarity with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma)Ready to take flight with us?Be part of the legacy, innovation, and excellence that is Boeing Defence Australia.
