Our Head office is located in Mount Pritchard and supports businesses across NSW, QLD, VIC and the ACT.About The RoleThe Bowls Coordinator is a full-time position located at the fabulous Halekulani Bowling Club on the northern end of the Central Coast in Budgewoi, NSW. We are opening a new and very impressive indoor bowling facility in March 2025, so this is a great time to jump on board.This role reports to the Venue Manager, and has the responsibility of coordination, organisation and execution of all bowls-related activities in our club, all the while ensuring our bowling cohort are making memorable experiences.More specifically, key duties will include but are not limited to:Collaborate with and support our Bowls Sub Club teamsDeveloping the annual bowls calendar in collaboration with other stakeholdersActively promote bowls events, including Barefoot Bowls, Corporate and Charity eventsEngage new participants and grow interest in the sportOversee the efficient running of bowls events and functionsActively participate in the organisation of training and coaching relating to bowls activitiesAbout YouTo be successful for this role, you have the following skills and experiences:Highly motivated to see people enjoy their leisure time, and bring people together in social and competitive settingsPrevious demonstrated experience in scheduling events, games through to tournaments and dealing with large groups of peopleWorking knowledge and understanding of the game of lawn bowlsStrong written and verbal communication skills, accompanied by diplomacyMore than Friendly and approachable, you bring energy, enthusiasm and you are an effective networkerTime management skills and the ability to read the room, make it happen faster or slow things downA passion for the game of BowlsBonus points if you can juggle, we think this role will keep you busyOur BenefitsBe an integral part of Australias largest group of registered clubsThis fabulous new working environmentDiscounted mealsFree onsite parkingSupportive and inclusive team and cultureUniforms are providedWHY MOUNTIES?We have over 250,000 members and are listed as one of Australias top privately owned companies.
