Join our team at Ventia, one of the largest infrastructure service providers in Australia and New Zealand, in the capacity of Finance Manager with our WA Transport division. Based at our East Perth office, this is a full-time role and will be reporting directly to the Senior Finance Manager. As the Finance Manager, you will be a key business partner to the operational leaders, successfully informing and driving business performance.Main areas of responsibilityThis role is responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting processes, as well as providing insight to support and drive operational management and robust decision making.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Ownership for all financial processes and transactional data, with a view to continuous improvementCompletion of month end processes including accurate and timely cost & revenue allocationFinancial reporting, variance, and operational analysis to meet Ventia, project and client reporting requirements.Prepare budgeting and forecasting requirements, inclusive of P&L, Balance Sheet and CashflowR&O reporting to highlight risks and opportunities, promoting transparency and driving actionMaintain detailed knowledge of financial aspects of contracts & sub-contracts within the portfolio; including application of various commercial arrangements and models.Proactive involvement in and review of financial aspects of the tendering processDriving the risk and SHEQ performance within the Project / Business UnitChampion Ventias enterprise values of Integrity, Collaboration, Challenge, and IngenuityRequirements5+ years experience in Project finance roles, ideally in civil infrastructure construction industryRelevant Degree in AccountingCPA or CA professional qualificationAdvanced working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP is desirable.Experience in Microsoft Excel and other Office 365 applicationsAbility to work flexibility in a fast paced environment, with complex data and multiple inputsHigh level of attention to detail/accuracyAbility to work independently as well as part of the team.Methodical and analytical understanding of the story behind the numbersStrong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels and across divisionsBenefitsVentia offers you a flexible, supportive and inclusive work environment where you matter.We have also partnered with some reputable organisations to be able to offer discounts on Health Insurance, Banking (new home loans, credit cards, everyday bank accounts), flights & accommodation, car hire, car leasing and much more.In addition, you will find a stimulating and rewarding working environment where we take our peoples careers seriously and help them to learn and grow.About the CompanyVentia is one of Australasias largest dedicated infrastructure service providers, Ventia is a new and dynamic organisation with a rich history.
