Justice and Attorney-General (Organisation site)Reform & Support Services; Queensland Courts Service; Courts and Tribunals; Brisbane CityThe Executive Manager is responsible for leading the delivery of a range of corporate governance services across CAT, including strategy development and the coordination and monitoring of organisational planning, reporting, risk management and business continuity that drives an uplift in organisation maturity and meets the strategic needs of senior leadership and key stakeholders.Your Key Responsibilities:Lead a small team in the establishment and implementation of a sophisticated corporate governance maturity uplift and forward plan agenda across CAT.Provide strategic and practical corporate governance advice, expertise and recommendations to senior executives and CAT stakeholders in applying a hybrid best practice'' and fit-for-purpose'' consultancy approach scaled to organisational and user capability as appropriate.Lead the development and implementation of a fit-for-purpose corporate governance framework for CAT, including an effective approach for the identification, review, monitoring and reporting of CAT performance against strategic objectives, ensuring alignment with Department-wide practices and best practice approaches.Develop and maintain high quality strategic, business, and operational planning, risk management and business continuity frameworks, including the coordination of appropriate reporting processes and dashboards that informs strategic insights and informed decision making by senior executives.Establish and maintain effective working relationships and networks within the division, department and other government agencies that enable you to act as a trusted and influential advisor, with a focus on supporting others to achieve positive outcomes.Schedule and coordinate proactive cyclical reviews and maintain registers and records to fulfil reporting requirements, ensuring appropriate dissemination of information that promotes engagement and common understanding.Provide high quality and timely professional advice, direction and support to senior leaders and governance committees, including the development of briefings, reports, presentations and information papers within set timelines.Prepare presentations and facilitate workshops with client business areas on corporate governance matters, operating in a professional manner and presenting with a clear, concise and articulate style.Regularly source information and stay attuned to the changing strategic and operational environment to contribute to the strengthening and continuous improvement of corporate governance capability across the division.Identify opportunities for process efficiencies and improved customer experience.Other tasks as directed.Applications to remain current for 12 months.Job Ad Reference: QLD/628609/25Closing Date: Wednesday, 09 April 2025Further informationWe are committed to building inclusive cultures in the Queensland public sector that respect and promote human rights and diversity.Please ensure you download all attachments and follow the instructions on how to apply. #J-18808-Ljbffr
