Your efforts will have a direct impact on improving the lives of vulnerable communities.The Position: Business Development RepresentativeTo help us reach our next stage of growth, we are looking to strengthen our team with an experienced Business Development Representative.Location:Australia Based Preferably Victoria (hybrid / remote)Reports to:Chief Operating OfficerJob Summary:The Business Development Representative at Lumin will contribute to and execute Lumins business growth strategy. This role requires a problem-solver with experience in B2B and B2C sales, preferably in age-tech solutions.The ideal candidate is a communications chameleon, who can seamlessly adapt to different audiences. From having pragmatic, solution-oriented conversations with organisations to empathetically advising families on the support their loved one needs to live independently.The primary responsibility is to manage inbound leads and build a dialogue with seniors, families, and Care Providers to explain the benefits of Lumin, including funding opportunities through the Australian Governments Support @Home Program.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to create campaigns that support sales initiatives and new client acquisition.Identify and qualify potential leads through research and outreach.Organise product demonstrations and meetings, introducing other team members as required, to help understand the problems to solve and the solutions available.Maintain a sales pipeline and actively manage the sales cycle to convert leads into customers.Ensure consistency and effectiveness of all sales communications and presentations.Gather customer feedback and communicate it to the product and development teams to drive product improvements.Present and demonstrate Lumins products and solutions.Represent Lumin at tradeshows and events nationally.Assist with the implementation and onboarding of new clients, ensuring a smooth transition and rollout of the Lumin product.Manage relationships with key (prospective) clients and partners.Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform business strategies.Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, key contacts and continuous mapping of target accounts including leads, pipeline, and closed deal data.Qualifications & Skills:We seek an individual who knows how to balance effective sales skills with empathy, trustworthiness and patienceA minimum 3 years of experience in a sales development role for technology, preferably in a relevant industry.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and prospects.The ability to build, nurture and maintain a trusted network.Strong verbal presentation skills in both individual and group settings.Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales and client development targets and achieving customer satisfaction.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to be proactive, think strategically, identify creative solutions and be confident with technology.Proficient in using CRM software, sales management, and data analytics tools.Knowledge of the aged care and retirement living sector in Australia is an advantage.Why Join Lumin?Meaningful Work: At Lumin, youll find purpose in your work making a positive impact on the lives of those who need it most.Competitive Offer: We offer a competitive salary and benefits package.Collaborative Environment: Join a team of passionate, like-minded individuals who are committed to our mission and are always willing to support and inspire each other.Career Growth: As part of our growing team, youll have opportunities to develop professionally and take on exciting new challenges.Supportive and Flexible Environment: We understand the importance of work-life balance, offering a flexible and supportive work environment.If you are a passionate sales professional looking to make a difference, we encourage you to apply now for the Business Development Representative position at Lumin.
