AMCOR Excavations is a civil earthworks company, primarily contracted to construct lease pads and access roads within the gas sector.Amcor Excavations are currently seeking an experienced Diesel Fitter to join us for a major earthwork''s projects primarily in the Western Downs Area around Dalby, Chinchilla, Miles, Wandoan and Surat.7 days on 7 days off rosterOn-site accommodation and meals providedCompetitive rates on offerFlexible RosterKey responsibilities:Conduct the servicing, maintenance, and repairs on civil earthworks equipment including trucks, dozers, graders, compactors, rollers, excavators, and posi-tracks.Work within Project rules and regulations at all times.Liaise with direct managers and supervisors daily.Thoroughly diagnose and repair faults.Work to tight schedules whilst maintaining the highest standards.Ensure quality and cost efficiency with all repairs and maintenance.To be successful in this role you will need:Current drivers licence (HR preferred but not essential).Fully qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic.Sound knowledge of diesel engines and emissions.Sound knowledge of drivetrain, brakes, and suspension.Basic auto electrical knowledge.Competent with computers and digital diagnostics.Outstanding work ethic and commitment to getting the job done.Strong commitment to Work Health and Safety.A team player who is action-focused and result-oriented, who quickly comes up to speed on repairs and priority breakdowns.Experience in working in a high-performance team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
