This work is being done as part of Edith Cowan Universitys Curriculum Transformation Project (CTP), which will see a transition from a modular unit-by-unit based curriculum model to a whole-of-course curriculum model.The Content Designer will work directly with course (degree) and unit (subject) coordinators to develop high quality learning materials for blended and online learning contexts. This position will collaborate closely with a School of Science Curriculum Designer and members of ECUs Centre for Learning and Teaching (CLT), including Senior Learning Designers and Senior Learning Advisers.To Be Successful In This Role You Will NeedA Minimum of a Masters degree in a relevant discipline;Up to date applied knowledge of learning design and emerging technologies;A good understanding of higher education and current industry trends;Experience in designing learning materials for tertiary students in a variety of formats;Experience with Learning Management Systems;Great communication skills and the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the Universitys values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry Personal Excellence and Courage.Benefits & RemunerationThis full time, fixed term (3 years) position attracts remuneration of $100,512 to $112,622 plus 17% University superannuation contribution.ECU supports a work/life balance for staff.
