Queensland ADHD & Neurosciences Clinic (QANC) is a prestigious, unique and novel cutting-edge Specialist Medical Clinic devoted to ADHD and related Neurodiversity (Child, Adolescent and Adult).We are seeking a dynamic FULL TIME Medical Admin for our front desk reception where excitement, reward, and challenge await.PART TIME role flexibility (up to 4 days) also offered based on suitability, experience, and capacity.Candidates with prior Admin experience in GP/Specialist Medical Clinics are preferred.Be a part of the amazing team experience at Australias most cutting-edge neuro-psychiatric Specialist Clinic for ADHD and Neurodiversity.Salary: Well paid working hours$30 to $40/hr. 8AM-4:30pmPERMANENT/FULLTIME POSITIONPART TIME (4 days will be considered)Candidates with limited experience may be offered an initial CASUAL position during an agreed Training period. This will follow with automatic progression to a Permanent role.Salary is driven by previous experience, capacity to work with QANC benchmarks/KPIs, and Fairwork Qld. HHSE level of seniority guidelines.Location: QLD. We do not offer Bulk Billing. We do not offer routine Telehealth.Work alongside a Senior Admin and two part-time offsite admins.At QANC, you are a part of the Clinic Team and not just an Admin team. We work together for our patient''s journey from start to recovery.QANC provides training for Triage, new intakes, GP, and other Clinic Liaison.Collaboration and Partnerships with stakeholders as the front face of QANC.The reporting line is to the Clinic Director. Senior Admin is the daily supervisor.Workplace Set-upThe Clinic has two front desk medical receptionists, Admins, and two part-time offsite Medical Admin including a Typist.Dr. A Khan is our full-time Specialist and Clinical Director.Part-time GP Specialist or Allied Health Clinician may also join the QANC Team.QANC clinic teams are guided by the Clinic Business Guidelines and Procedures.Support, supervision, and training provided.The medical team may grow in the future.Job ProfileThis job is highly demanding and busy. Almost 60%-80% of ADHD individuals are Neurodiverse.Neuro-psychiatry of ADHD over the lifespan is a relatively new sub-specialty in Australia.QANC Clinical Team will offer support to build or enhance basic core skills of communication, problem-solving, and multi-task management.Our Clinic Director & Senior Receptionist will guide and support you as you will be part of the QANC Team.We have an amazing supporting Team, but we realize that change takes time.Depending on past experience, up to 1 to 3 months of initial training and Supervision provided.We do not believe that induction and training should be rushed. We understand anxieties of familiarity in a new workplace. We believe in constant access and support. We emphasize open communication at all times.Staff will be provided references and guidance on how to apply Medical ethics and medico-legal framework in daily tasks.This is catered to by offering Supervision sessions, exploring best ways to address daily patient requests via implementing standardized QANC procedures developed to suit ADHD patients and families.Day-to-day duties of the clinic will be driven by a structured Daily task and goal lists.Daily operational morning meetings to ensure implementation of Clinic procedures and protocols.Skills & RequirementsOur clinic is fully WIFI. No paper files.This requires skills of being fluent and independent with the use of Practice Management software.We use software Best Practice and Medical Objects.We need staff who are really fast with computers or have used Practice Management software such as Medical Director or Genie etc.Knowledge, awareness, and demonstration of basic ethical principles such as Patient Confidentiality, Consent, and Privacy laws etc.We will support education of basic core competencies specific to dealing with ADHD and Neurodiverse patients and families. We look for staff who can embrace a holistic approach in a medical context.We expect that all our Team Clinic performance is tailored to address the needs of our ADHD patients.We are a family and carer driven shared care diagnostic service.
