Join the V Team Life.What youll be doing:This role spearheads marketing growth initiatives for Verizon Business in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. Developing and executing on an annual APAC Marketing Plan, the program is aligned to regional sales imperatives and both Global and International marketing approaches. You will lead a team of senior marketers across the region who plan and deliver campaigns across all stages of the marketing funnel; from awareness to engagement to demand generation. Campaigns and programs span APAC, primarily in Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Japan and you will collaborate with your team to refine the marketing approach by country & culture.The key objective for APAC Marketing is to raise awareness of Verizon Business and our capabilities in APAC, to understand our customers and industrys challenges, to find compelling ways for our audiences to engage with us, and ultimately to contribute to sales funnel, bookings and revenue. Our market comprises large enterprises across APAC as well as the public sector in Australia only.Purpose of Role:The Head of APAC Marketing inspires, provides guidance, coaches, and develops each individual team member and unites them into a performing team, underpinned by the core values of Verizon. You will be part of the APAC leadership team and attend, contribute and speak regularly at ALT and other regional and international meetings for marketing.By measuring, reporting on and analyzing campaign performance, you will determine its impact on objectives and team KPIs, and incorporate into future tactics and approaches.The team you lead uses a range of marketing channels to achieve its objectives, according to audience type and segmentation. Channels include digital campaigns such as email nurture, paid and organic social, syndicated content, paid search and SEO. Offline channels include a range of different event types including small focused customer briefings, roundtables, and large industry conferences. Telemarketing and focused segment Attack programs are also included in the arsenal of demand gen activities. Account Based Marketing principles are used in our strategic and tactical plans: working with a segmented target account list (TAL) in the APAC region. Both 1:1 ABM and 1:few ABM programs are included in the APAC program. From time to time we work with technology partners on campaigns.Key to success is to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders in APAC. Teams and leaders in EMEA and the US will also be a key part in your sphere of influence and collaborative efforts.Job responsibilities:The primary marketing liaison with sales vice presidents and managing directors across the APAC region.Responsible for strategic planning, execution, and oversight of all field marketing and account-based marketing (ABM) programs to drive awareness and demand generation across all sales segments and key verticals.Report quarterly on campaign contribution, effectiveness and ROI.Collaborate with sales leaders and their regional teams to develop and implement campaigns and programs aimed at building sales funnel and winning business.Work closely with the shared services team in EMEA and leverage content and campaigns as relevant for APACs focus.Develop a pipeline of reference and case studies across APAC.Leverage US and EMEA produced content as relevant and create specific APAC content particularly for the Federal Government in Australia.Ensure the two English APAC web domains and the Japanese web domain have relevant and fresh content to use in awareness, outreach and engagement campaigns.Manage key external marketing agencies and develop strong relationships built on trust.Manage discretionary and ABM budgets as well relevant agency retainers. Ensure legal compliance processes are followed by all team members, with privacy, copy, event nomination and opt-in/spam rules are adhered to.This is a full-time role based. There will be meetings outside of business hours to allow for time zone differences in the global teams.
