We strive to sustain a vibrant, respectful environment in which students and staff engage collaboratively in education and research that impacts on national and international policy/practice.This 40:40:20 position seeks an accomplished leader in clinical dietetics with a doctoral degree in medical nutrition therapy and at least 10 years of accreditation as an Accredited Practising Dietitian with Dietitians Australia. To be eligible for this appointment, the successful candidate must hold a clinical appointment within the Sydney Local Health District in a clinical dietetics role. They must also have extensive experience in a tertiary referral hospital setting and be recognised nationally and internationally for their research contributions. A proven track record of securing research funding, supervision of HDR students, engagement with health agencies and professional societies is essential.About you (skills, capabilities and experience)In this role, the appointee will lead a world-class research program and provide leadership in the development and delivery of the medical nutrition therapy curriculum, ensuring high-quality education and training for student dietitians. They will play a key role in experiential learning and placement curricula, fostering strong clinical competencies among students. Additionally, they will provide supervision and mentorship for higher degree by research (HDR) students, expanding research projects and student numbers in medical nutrition therapy. The role also involves managing, supervising, and mentoring dietitians at various career stages, contributing to the professions growth and innovation.Sponsorship / work rights for AustraliaWork Rights: you must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to apply.
