Reporting to our Chief Information Officer, you will be an integral member of our passionate and results-focused IT team, who work collaboratively to deliver commercial and practical IT solutions to our internal clients.As the Applications and Data Manager, you will be a hands-on technical leader responsible for overseeing and guiding a small team of developers and support analysts in building and supporting software and data-driven solutions for the firm. Your primary focus is to drive the direction and oversee software solution delivery and support of the firms enterprise applications.Key responsibilitiesLead, mentor, and develop a small team of developers and support analysts.Maintain and enhance relationships with key internal personnel and external service providers.Undertake technical responsibility for software system projects in scope for IT across the firm.Oversee and lead the design, development, and support of the firms finance and operations platform, collaborating with the service provider across configuration, customisation, and troubleshooting within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 environment.Lead the development and support of bespoke digital solutions built upon the various components of the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint Online).Oversee the design, implementation, and management of data architecture platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Synapse & SQL.Leverage AI technologies to deliver innovative solutions.Promote best practices in software development (DevOps), data management, and project delivery.Establish policies, procedures, and systems to maintain data and systems secured to firm standards.Skills and experienceBachelors degree in Computing or related field, and/or relevant technical (Microsoft) certifications (preferred).2+ years experience in a technical leadership or managerial role in applications development, data management, or similar fields.Strong technical expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & AX.In-depth experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate).Solid understanding of data architectures governance frameworks and platforms.Strong knowledge of software development lifecycles, DevOps, development platforms, and concepts.Experience guiding and developing small technical teams.Proficiency in AI and Automation technologies, and knowledge of other development methodologies, platforms, and languages such as full stack/web front end, etc., beneficial.Prior experience working within an accounting practice advantageous.Best kept secrets of SWProgressive firm, with excellent career opportunities.Flexible working environment.2 additional AL days per year.18 weeks paid parental leave for primary carers and 3 weeks for non-primary.Refer to client and refer a friend bonus scheme.Employee Assistance Program and Wellness perks.$1000 towards home office setup.Social Club.Tailored Learning and Development Program.Paid Course/study leave.1 paid professional membership per year.Weekly lunch provided.Apply todayCreate your own individual story and become a part of ours.
