Primary DetailsTime Type: Full timeWorker Type: EmployeeLocation: AustraliaType: Permanent, full timeHybrid role, Happy to talk flexible workingThe opportunityA fantastic opportunity for an IT Risk Manager with experience and a keen interest in Cyber Risk Quantification to join Group Technology & Operations.This line 1 role will see you developing and leading QBEs Cyber Risk Quantification capability, helping QBE manage its Cyber risk by providing data-driven insights to senior stakeholders and decision makers. You will be responsible for overseeing periodic modelling of QBEs cyber risk, ensuring data collection, interpretation and reporting of risk is robust and value-driven.Your new roleLead efforts in cyber risk quantification and modelling supported by 3rd party partner expertise.Develop and manage the activities required to support a robust periodic Cyber Risk Quantification process.Develop strong relationships with the Cyber leadership team, the IT risk and control owners, 1st, 2nd and 3rd line risk partners ensuring that they understand how they can support or gain value from Cyber Risk Quantification.Support ongoing cyber assurance activities including control testing, issue and incident management along with internal and external reviews.Prepare and present periodic reporting on results and insights to various QBE stakeholders.About youExperience and a keen interest in cyber risk quantification methods i.e. FAIR.Experience in cyber risk management, auditing, consulting or governance.Experience working in complex organisations with varied stakeholder needs.Ability to successfully identify measures or indicators of performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance and reduce risk.Proven ability to identify and explain key areas of risk or complexity.Demonstrate strong resilience and tenacity in managing and mitigating cyber threats.About QBEWe can never really predict whats around the corner, but at QBE were asking the right questions to enable a more resilient future helping those around us build strength and embrace change to their advantage.
