This role, part of the Strategic Communications team within Corporate Relations Australia, focuses on internal and external communications, media relations, brand management, sponsorships, and digital channels.You will manage Shell Australias digital and social media presence, creating engaging content that reflects Shells global strategy and nearly 125-year presence in Australia. Additionally, you will provide guidance to other business partners who leverage the Shell brand, such as the brand licensee and non-integrated portfolio companies, ensuring compliance with Shell standards. The role also involves supporting integrated brand campaigns, sponsorship activations, and events, with opportunities to contribute to broader activities within the Strategic Communications team based on project priorities.What youll be doingDevelop and implement digital and social media strategies for Shell Australia, aligning with business and brand objectives.Manage Shell Australias website and digital channels with clear objectives, target audiences, and performance metrics.Oversee digital monitoring, social listening, and responses for daily activities and key campaigns.Create branded visual content (film, photography, infographics) and manage content production through agencies.Deliver branded events, sponsorships, and partnerships to engage and differentiate the Shell brand.Deliver integrated brand campaigns, from developing communications briefs to overseeing creative production through agencies and managing execution on selected channels.Use data and analytics to evaluate and optimize digital content performance, incorporating external insights and trends.Provide governance and guidance to Shell partners, ensuring compliance with brand standards and optimizing content and channel use.Support other areas of Strategic Communications spanning the teams remit, such as internal communications planning and delivery, and based on project demand flow.What you bringExtensive experience in managing digital and social content, including content management, web publishing, and analytics tools.Proven track record in delivering creative, cost-effective content strategies and campaigns, with strong project and campaign management skills.Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills, along with experience managing third-party suppliers and ensuring service delivery.Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills to a professional standard, with the ability to think strategically and creatively.Tertiary qualification in Communications, Media, Marketing, or Journalism, or relevant professional experience in a similar industry.What we offerYou bring your skills and experience to Shell and in return you work with talented, committed people on one of the most important challenges facing our planet.
