Your role will focus on maintaining reliability strategies for key fixed plant assets, ensuring smooth operations and preventing backlog issues. Work primarily from Brisbane with some FIFO to site as required.BenefitsHigh daily rate - $1,500 per dayBrisbane-based work - No immediate site travel requiredShort-term contract - 3-4 months with potential for extensionKey mining project - Work on critical fixed plant reliabilityEssential Qualifications & SkillsProven experience in mechanical reliability engineering in mining or heavy industryHands-on FMECA development expertiseStrong knowledge of fixed plant equipment and dewatering systemsAbility to work independently and deliver under minimal supervisionImmediate availability requiredDuties & ResponsibilitiesConduct reliability analysis on fixed plant equipment and dewatering systemsDevelop and implement FMECA strategies to optimize equipment performanceMonitor and assess asset health using predictive maintenance techniquesTroubleshoot mechanical issues and recommend corrective actionsLiaise with site teams to ensure equipment uptime and reliability targets are metProvide technical guidance on underground and surface dewatering systemsSupport short-term planning for maintenance and asset management strategiesAbout Our ClientOur client is a leading mining operation with a strong focus on reliability and asset management.
