To commence we envisage we will require you to work 5 hours per day for 4 days per week.Our purpose is to enrich the lives of people living independently in their own homes through connection to services and community.About ECHOECHO Community Services is a not-for-profit organisation providing care to the elderly to help them live in their own home with dignity while still maintaining their independence.We provide in-home services 7 days per week for Home Care Package clients and 5 days per week for CHSP clients.Our goal is to provide services at the same time, on the same day and with the same team of Support Workers which means that you know the people who are coming and the time they will arrive. Having the same support workers providing services, in particular, medication prompts and personal care, maintains the persons dignity and well-being. You know and can trust the people attending. There is continuity of care for people who receive our services.Job DescriptionRoleAs a Recruitment Officer, you will play a crucial role in attracting, screening, and selecting the best talent to meet the needs of our organization. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure staffing levels meet operational demands. You will be responsible for:Manage end-to-end recruitment processes.Collaborate with department managers.Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and best practices in recruitment.Manage the Recruitment inbox and ensure all queries are actioned in a timely manner.Prepare for interview sessions, including contacting candidates to confirm attendance and requesting missing documents.End-to-End Recruitment Process:Create and post job advertisements on relevant platforms.Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews.Schedule, coordinate and conduct interviews.Stakeholder Engagement:Liaise with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and provide recommendations.Compliance & Documentation:Ensure all recruitment activities comply with company policies and employment laws.Conduct reference checks, verify work rights, and facilitate background screenings.Desired Skills and ExperienceThe CriteriaAt least 2 years of experience as a Recruitment Advisor and conducting interviews.Proven expertise in recruiting both blue- and white-collar roles, ideally within the aged care or disability services sectors.Enthusiastic and motivated person, who is driven by success.Quick, efficient & task-oriented.High attention to detail in managing candidate information and ensuring accuracy throughout the recruitment process.Highly computer literate with previous experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.Strong organizational & time management skills.Experience working with recruiting software systems.
