An independent comparative lifecycle analysis shows Visys recycled plastic slashes water and greenhouse gas emissions by nearly two thirds.The Role:Based at our plant in Smithfield, this role reports to the Maintenance Manager. We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the performance, maintenance, and repair of specialised recycled plastic and extrusion machines in our semi-automated plastic recycling factory.Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Overlook and supervise daily operations of the mechanical team.Co-ordinate plant mechanical repairs and maintenance for the plant.React quickly to breakdowns.Carry out routine checks and planned preventative maintenance to maintain productivity of machines.Oversee and support installation and maintenance of machinery and equipment.Use continuous improvement to ensure optimal safety, efficiency, and quality.Uphold and adhere to company policies and procedures in Environmental, Health and Safety and HACCP.What You Will Bring to the Team:Hold a Mechanical Trade Qualification.Hold a Current LF Forklift and Elevated Work Platform (EWP) ticket.Have supervisory leadership experience.Ability to lead and manage a team.Previous maintenance experience in a fixed plant and/or manufacturing environment.Experience in Pneumatics and Hydraulics.Have machining and welding skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Great work ethic with the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.Adhere, uphold, and maintain OHS policies and procedures.Ready to make a difference?
