Mildura Base Public Hospital is seeking a dedicated and motivated Grade 2 Speech Pathologist to join our dynamic Allied Health team. This role will be responsible for providing high-quality services across both acute and sub-acute settings, with a focus on outpatient services and, where necessary, inpatient services.Key Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive speech pathology assessments and interventions for outpatient and inpatient clients.Assist in the supervision and direction of Grade 1 Speech Pathologists, students, and allied health assistants.Contribute to service development and delivery in line with organisational goals.Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, liaising with staff and community agencies to ensure continuity of care.Lead clinical roles for designated case types, ensuring evidence-based practices and quality patient care.Participate in clinical and non-clinical duties, including service planning, communication, and professional development.Key Selection Criteria:A Bachelor of Speech Pathology or equivalent qualification.Evidence of eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).Proven experience and clinical competence as a Grade 2 Speech Pathologist.Flexibility and adaptability in both autonomous and team-based environments.Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.Initiative and creativity in the provision of speech pathology services.Commitment to continuous quality improvement and meeting deadlines.This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive, professional, and dynamic environment where you can make a real difference in patient care.
