Senior Project Officer Bus Stop InfrastructureThe Senior Project Officer Bus Stop Infrastructure coordinates the development and delivery of key bus stop infrastructure programs, including the Bus Stop Accessibility Works Program and the Bus Shelter Subsidy Program. This role oversees project management and contract administration for a wide range of works, such as bus stop upgrades, shelter installations, and minor civil construction projects like footpaths and pedestrian ramps. The officer liaises with contractors, local governments, and Main Roads WA to ensure timely and compliant infrastructure delivery, while also leading the development of innovative design solutions that align with accessibility standards and operational needs. Additionally, they supervise contractor performance, ensuring quality control and rectification of works where necessary.The role involves reviewing and approving bus stop locations, representing the PTA in stakeholder meetings, and resolving escalated community concerns regarding bus stop placement and infrastructure. The officer also contributes to the continuous improvement of internal systems, including the Transperth Route Information System (TRIS), and ensures compliance with accessibility legislation.
