Our client is looking for an experienced Structural Steel Detailer to join their team at their Albury/Wodonga-based business. In this role, you will be responsible for producing detailed shop drawings for structural steel components that need to be manufactured.They use Tekla Structures software for drawing production. While prior experience with Tekla is advantageous, it is not essential, as they offer training on how to use the software.The RoleInterpret engineering design drawings and specifications to develop detailed shop drawings for structural steel fabrication.Collaborate with project engineers, fabricators, and construction teams to clarify requirements and address technical queries.Ensure that all drawings comply with relevant Australian Standards and building codes.Identify and resolve any technical issues or discrepancies in the design.Produce bills of materials and other documentation necessary for steel fabrication.RequirementsProven experience as a Structural Steel Detailer with a strong understanding of steel products.Familiarity with Tekla Structures software is advantageous, but not essential. A willingness to become proficient in using the software is required.Exceptional attention to detail and ability to interpret complex engineering drawings.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
