This major project will see construction of 8km of single lane highway with approximately 2.5 km of bridge structures and upgrades to local intersections. This diverse and challenging project has a 2 year construction program ensuring longevity in your role and presenting opportunities to grow within the business.For this project, we are looking for a Site Engineer, with either structures or civils experience to join the team.Key Responsibilities:Manage daily construction activities to ensure project milestones are achievedMonitor and report the performance of the workforce and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to technical, program, quality, environmental, safety, and commercial standardsAttend design reviews and provide input on constructability, temporary works designs, safety, site access, and related issues.Create, monitor, and control project schedulesPlan and implement site establishment activities, ensuring compliance with site-specific and contract requirements, including location, fencing, signage, environmental, and traffic conditionsIdentify, analyze, and mitigate potential risks, maintaining a risk register and initiating corrective actions as neededAbout You:Bachelor''s degree in civil engineering or related field with relevant professional certificationsProven experience in on-site engineering roles, demonstrating a strong understanding of construction processesExcellent problem-solving and decision-making skills in dynamic construction environmentsEffective communication skills to liaise with project stakeholders, teams, and regulatory authoritiesWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and promote equality and diversity.
