Manage time well and monitor performance against deadlines and milestones.Apply expertise and technology: utilise detailed technical knowledge, continually developing your skill set through ongoing learning and development.Be action-oriented: remain decisive while balancing risks, show initiative, and take accountability for actions and outcomes.Keep abreast of industry best practices in application solution development.Demonstrate willingness to learn new technologies as required by the role.Qualifications and training:5+ years experience in software development, including 3+ years in API and integration, and at least 1 year in front-end web development.Proven success in delivering .NET Core APIs, including system analysis, functional and technical solution design, and feasibility studies.Experience with front-end tools such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, React, jQuery, and similar frameworks.Experience with Next.js is highly preferred.Experience using the Microsoft Azure platform, particularly Azure Service Bus and Azure Functions.Previous exposure to Azure B2C is an advantage.Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and developing stored procedures.Familiarity with containerised environments.Experience monitoring and supporting complex enterprise applications.Strong understanding of testable software design, best practices, and design patterns, producing high-quality code and regression tests while leveraging existing Bupa code libraries, patterns, and architecture.Familiarity with Agile methodologies.Experience with mocking frameworks and dependency injection (DI) design patterns; comfortable with ambiguity and exploring new, unproven ideas.A positive, supportive individual with a can-do attitude and the ability to see the bigger picture.Whats in it for me?As well as a competitive salary, a range of Bupa benefits and flexible working/work from home arrangements, youll be challenged and encouraged to innovate.
