About the job Application Support AnalystJob Description of Application Support Analyst in Sydney:Technical Skills:Working experience of supporting applications in:WindowsMS SQLJBOSS/JavaTrade operations functional knowledgeControl-M, MQSupport experienceAbility to read code and debug is required.Experience range: 5-10 yearsQualification or Certifications:Must-Have/Mandatory:Good analytical & troubleshooting skillsAbility to work under pressurized environmentsGood communication (Oral, Verbal & Written) skillsSet of Technical skills mentioned aboveSelf-driven, proactive team playerAbility to troubleshoot and think outside the box to resolve rarely seen problemsParticipation in on-call rosterKnowledge of trade operations, Documentary Collections, Documentary Credit, Trade Finance, and GuaranteesGood-to-Have/Desirable:Relevant certificationsITIL/production support backgroundInterpersonal skillsTools like ServiceNowAppD, SplunkKey Responsibilities:Day to day support of international trade applications, including working with the Business Support team to resolve issues within trade apps and in the overall environment.Technical troubleshooting including workflow behavior, system performance, user experience issues, interfaces (batch & realtime), reporting, and overall environment issues.Respond to queries from interfacing systems (both external and internal), assist in resolving data, connectivity, and reconciliation issues.Complete audit requests (internal and external) in a timely manner.Involvement in trade applications project work and participation in operational readiness, ensuring the integrity of the Production environment is maintained and kept as priority over all else.Investigate and develop fixes for small bugs or functionality issues.Incident and Problem management.Investigate and resolve tickets in agreed timeframes and ensure all tickets are correctly documented.Change management: Ensure that all change that is deployed into Production is tested and verified. Attend regular meetings to discuss the planning of deployments.Resolution of major incidents in a time-sensitive environment.Ensure the batches are completed as per SLA and the system is up to date by the start of the next business day.Monitoring of maintenance and capacity (DB sizing, file system sizing/archiving/retention/cleanup, server resources).Participate in disaster recovery, develops improvement for performance availability and reliability. #J-18808-Ljbffr
