Holmesglen Private Hospital is seeking an Environmental Services Assistant to join our team on a casual basis. You will take pride in your work, have a friendly and positive work attitude and achieving high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction, in this fast paced and varied environment across the Hospital. This role will see you cleaning in a variety of areas across the Hospital including patient rooms, corporate offices and hallways.About us: Holmesglen Private Hospital is a world class facility located in the South Eastern region of Melbourne. Close to public transport and with affordable onsite parking.Holmesglen Private is a state of the art 147 bed hospital, comprising of a 24/7 Emergency Department, 6 bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 9 bed specialised Coronary Care Unit (CCU), 12 bay Day Infusion Unit and 5 specialised inpatient units including Oncology, Urology, ENT, Orthopaedics, Plastic Surgery, Interventional Cardiology and Rehabilitation Services.As an Environmental Service Assistant your responsibilities will include:Provide high standard of cleaning servicesOperate in line with infection control standards and WHS policy & proceduresDeliver excellent customer service to staff, clients and patientsHave demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional developmentMinimum Requirements:Previous cleaning experience in Healthcare/hotel/airline cleaning is preferred but not essentialWorking with Children checkPolice check will be requiredCommitment to service excellenceProven time management skills and ability to manage prioritiesStrong communication and customer skillsWork well independently and within a teamWhy Healthscope?When you join Healthscope, you become part of our Community of Care.
