We have established an excellent reputation for innovative and quality products that our retailers and consumers love equally.About the position:We are looking for a highly organised, talented and experienced Pre-Press Graphic Artist to join our team.The Pre-Press Graphic Artist is responsible for digitally sampling a variety of mixed media works, collaborating with artists to reproduce artwork for TSD clothing brands in multiple formats, techniques, and materials. This role serves as the bridge between the Creative Team and the TSD in-house Production Team, ensuring a clear understanding of creative requirements and managing all styles and designs to meet quality standards for approval by Brand Managers.Scope:The role is responsible for the on time, on quality and best price graphic art re-production across all Tank Stream Design brands. The scope of this role encompasses everything that drives quality of digital art reproduction, including but not limited to, a high degree of technical knowledge across digital printing equipment, a high level of understanding with regards to graphic file manipulation, a solid understanding of DTG processes and an ongoing drive to keep up to date with new technologies and equipment and consumables.Key responsibilities include:Collaborate with a team of artists and print specialists to produce and sample a variety of print products across different printing formats for the global market.Preliminary understanding of the design style intent.Understand graphics, style of printing, colour and colour vibrancy to ensure the deign brief is achieved for each print or graphic artwork.Prepare artwork and files for DTG printing using Adobe Suite; high-level Illustrator and Photoshop skills are essential.Prepare art files for the various printing methods required to meet the design brief to achieve the highest quality design at the best cost.Ensure best sample is approved with the Art Department Manager or Brand Manager and once approved handed over to the production team.Systematically save files and maintain records for all programs.Create a Digital Design Library that captures the various sample iterations with documented feedback from the Art Department Manager / Brand Manager for each design.Ensure the Final approved graphic with Golden Sample, both digitally and physical garment is recorded and cataloged.Work closely with the design and production teams to meet client specifications and deadlines.Ensure all new graphics or updates to graphics are completed on time as required by the company seasonal timeline.Ensure customer specific graphics are approved within timelines agreed with customer.To be successful, you will have:5+ yrs experience as a Pre-Press Graphic Designer in the DTG / Print industry.You will have demonstrated experience in all aspects of Pre-Press Graphic design and ability to bring the product to marketProficient in Adobe Suite in particular Photoshop and Illustrator, Word and Excel platformsYou are a strong communicator, a team player, and have a can-do outlookYou are highly capable of juggling multiple projects and deadlines simultaneouslyA positive outlook, vibrant personality and a team playerThis role is an exciting opportunity in a growing business where you can make a difference.Our company is locally owned, professional but family orientated, and growing nationally and internationally.If this sounds like you we look forward to hearing from you! #J-18808-Ljbffr
