(pro rata) + superannuation and Salary Sacrifice BenefitsPart-time temporary position (3 days per week) up to 12 months,available at Glenside CampusFANTASTIC OPPORTUNITY TO UTILISE OR BUILD OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY LEADERSHIP SKILLSAbout the RoleAs a Senior Occupational Therapist within the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) Mental Health Clinical Program, you will play a key role in the delivery of recovery-focused occupational therapy services within an adult inpatient mental health setting. Working within a multidisciplinary team, inclusive of other mental health occupational therapists, you will provide evidence-based assessments, consultations, individual and group interventions, and support discharge planning. You will apply your proficient mental health knowledge and skills to support the development of complex care plans, remove discharge barriers, and ensure a safe and supported admission and discharge. Your expertise will help enhance outcomes for consumers and their families, contributing to a holistic approach to mental health recovery.In addition to your clinical role, you will take leadership responsibilities within the team, actively contributing to the continuous improvement of occupational therapy services. You will provide professional supervision to staff and students, guiding their development and ensuring the highest standards of practice. Ongoing professional development, leadership support and professional supervision are provided. Proven experience in mental health and complex needs care.Clinical Expertise: Advanced skills in conducting bio-psychosocial assessments, care planning, crisis intervention, and mental health occupational therapy interventions.Leadership & Supervision: Ability to provide clinical leadership within a multi-disciplinary team, supervise staff, and mentor students while exercising sound professional judgement.Commitment to Development: Demonstrated dedication to ongoing professional development, with a strong ability to apply evidence-based practices and psychosocial rehabilitation techniques.About CALHNThe Central Adelaide Local Health Network includes Souths Australias major quaternary facility, the Royal Adelaide Hospital, The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, the Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre, and the Repat Health Precinct.
