Reporting to the Mount Isa Maintenance Team Leader, this position provides a maintenance service to the Mt Isa Operations to ensure the ongoing reliability of the plant.Responsibilities Include But Not Limited ToProviding a responsive service to meet unplanned maintenance requests and scheduled maintenance tasksCarrying out maintenance tasks within budget and in compliance with Site Engineering and Maintenance StandardsWorking as part of a team to follow processes and procedures relating to maintenance tasks, safety, quality and environment with a do it once, do it right mindsetWorking closely with the operations team to achieve plant reliability and production targetsProviding input into improvements for reliability maintenance strategies and working closely with reliability engineersWhat You Will BringYou have worked within heavy industrial environments as a boilermaker and have exceptional welding skills, along with the qualifications which will enable you to carry out the specialist welding we have onsite.You Will Also HaveMinimum 5 years experience in MMA, MIG, and TIGWelding experience in mining, chemical manufacturing or similar industryProven safety culture and mindsetPerform work to high qualityPerforming weld repairs in the plant under hot conditions on steam lines, vessels and tanksPressure welding experienceExceptional diagnostic and problem-solving skillsThe ability to self-manage priorities and work in a team environmentRequirementsQualificationsCert III in Metal Fabrication Trade QualificationCurrent C Drivers LicenceForklift TicketEWP TicketThe ability to pass TIG weld testing for carbon steels, stainless steel and SAF in the 6G position prior to be awarded contractFavourableAbility to obtain Certification No. 7 in Welding within 12 months of successful employmentHR LicenseDogger LicenseBridge and Gantry Crane (CB) LicenseBasic Rigging LicenseC2 and/or C6 crane ticketExperience in using CMMS systems like SAPBenefits To YouWe are a team focused on safety, inclusion and high performance18 weeks paid parental leave for primary carer, 3 weeks for secondary carerSuperannuation paid on unpaid parental leave, up to 12 monthsSalary packaging optionsConfidential employee assistance programMental Health and Well-being programOptions to purchase annual leaveVarious corporate discount programsWorkplace giving charitable schemeOpportunities for career progression through succession planning and development reviewsSalary Sacrificing Options including car lease options, FIFO airport parkingThe SiteNorthern Australian Operations consists of an Ammonium Phosphate Mine and Processing Plant (Phosphate Hill) and Sulphuric Plant (Mt Isa) in North Queensland.
