Herd Manager/Farm Hand Position Available!Location: WarragulAn exciting opportunity exists for an individual to join our team as our Herd Manager/Farm Hand. On offer is the opportunity to work for a 100% Australian locally owned and operated family business. With over 20 years of experience in farming, were seeking a self-driven individual to join our team full-time.This role is best suited to a self-driven individual who understands the day-to-day runnings of a farm. You will report directly to the owners on a weekly/and or when-required basis.Core responsibilities of this role include:Breeding & raising livestock to produce meat (Angus beef)Assist livestock giving birthGeneral farming/feeding activitiesMaintenance fencing, repairs and water supply systemEquipment maintenanceGeneral tractor operations throughout the yearOperate farm equipment, including but not limited to trucks, tractors, Utes, quadbikes, and spray unitsThe successful applicant will have:Ability to operate various farm vehicles and machines.Ability to undertake fencing workAble to work for long hours outdoors in various weather conditions.Able to undertake manual and sometimes heavy work.Ability to work autonomously and in a team.Effective time management and organisation skills.A self-starter with a positive attitudeAdditional Information:No accommodation is available.Own transport is mandatory.Remuneration will be reflective of the experience demonstrated.If this sounds like you, we want to hear from you!
