This is a full-time appointment with 5 days per week totaling 38 hours per week.MUST HAVE DIGITAL PRINT EXPERIENCE. A commitment to quality, excellent stamina and an ability to work well under pressure are essential. You''ll need a minimum of 2 years trade experience, & a willingness to learn new skills. As part of our existing production team your key duties will include:Maintain our workplace standards in Safety, Quality & ConsistencyBe able to work in a team and autonomously as required.Certificate in Printing and Graphic Arts (Pre-Press) will be highly regardedAbility to run digital production equipmentExpertise in graphic applications including Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) and Microsoft (Word, Publisher, PowerPoint)Proficient with PC platform MAC/PCPre-flight skills Ability to produce and prepare print-ready files with an exceptional understanding of the print process (digital and offset) including imposition, colour management and image qualityPersonal skills:Excellent time-management and organizational skills to coordinate workflowHigh level of customer service and interpersonal skills (with fluency in English)Ability to work on multiple projects and to prioritize workflowHigh level communication skills to facilitate coordination with other team membersInitiative is essentialKey responsibilities:Check and prepare files for printRun digital pressesManage pre-press workflowDesign, layout and formatting for specific printed productsCustomer liaison via email or phone or face to face, to discuss requirements, from design brief through development to approvalAssist in production & finishing jobsAssist with deliveries when required.Prepare estimates when required.This is a hands-on role, skills in Graphic Design / Pre-press are required.
