Calvary Kingswood - Personal Care WorkerAbout the roleThis is a rewarding, hands-on role that will give you the opportunity to positively impact the lives of our residents. Care Service Employees work within the aged care team to promote the delivery of quality care to residents and their families, demonstrating competence in the provision of resident-centred care.Key ResponsibilitiesWork within an established and agreed framework to deliver a range of personal care tasks, including, but not limited to daily hygiene, for example: showering, shaving, dressing, mouth and eye care.Observe the condition of residents and report any changes to the Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse, Facility Manager, or appropriate person, as well as completing the required documentation.Respect each persons privacy, dignity, and confidentiality when providing services for residents.Assist residents who require assistance with mobility as per care plan. Residents are to be encouraged to remain ambulatory and independent.Respect each resident and ensure that they are treated with dignity and given opportunities for making decisions, particularly concerning their day-to-day routine.What you bringCertificate III Aged Care or Individual Support is essential.Current Influenza Immunisation & Covid-19 Vaccination.Effective interpersonal communication; both written and verbal.Working knowledge of WHS and Infection Control.A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organisation.For further information please contact Sally Adams- sally.adams@calvarycare.org.auWhy work for Calvary?At Calvary, our staff matter.
