(EF)Removes trash and soiled linen. (EF)Cleans and stores hospital equipment as directed. (EF)Reports needed maintenance repairs. (EF)Documents all tasks and makes record of patient requests and complaints in room cleaning. (EF)Hospital Responsibilities:Adheres to organization-wide and other applicable policies and procedures.Day-to-day performance complies with the hospitals Service Excellence Behavioral Expectations.Performs within the prescribed limits of the hospitals Ethics, Compliance and Confidentiality Program guidelines.Performs within his/her professional Scope of Practice at all times.Other Duties As Assigned:Nothing in this job description restricts managements right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.Ability to read and write in English and perform basic math.Consistent work history or education.Ability to learn and apply proper techniques in cleaning a healthcare environment.PREFERRED:Two years cleaning experience in healthcare or other industry.Proven work experience as a housekeeper or custodian in healthcare.Citizens Medical Center is looking for employees who actively demonstrate service excellence by exemplifying our iCare values.
