The successful candidate will be tasked with facilitating the day-to-day operations in the Wine Loft in this front of house role, which is focused on providing both exceptional customer service and wanting to build on their existing knowledge of food & wine service.About the role:You will be focusing on serving our dine-in customers - facilitating a memorable experience for all of our guests whilst showcasing seasonal produce and our carefully curated selection of wines from Australia and around the world.Having recently launched BTO, a small Teppanyaki kitchen which functions within the Wine Loft space, it has expanded our food offering to include an extensive range of Japanese inspired dishes utilizing the best meat, fish and produce our business is fortunate enough to have access to.The successful candidate must provide exceptional customer service and contribute to a positive, efficient and collaborative team environment that is focused on providing an incredible experience for our customers.This is a fantastic opportunity to work for one of Perths most recognized businesses in a role that has room to grow and to be molded to your own.Responsibilities include:Being the host of the Wine Bar, greeting guests on arrival and facilitating an engaging and memorable dining experience.Rolling up your sleeves when needed, to serve wine, beer & spirits as well as liaising with our BOTO Teppanyaki Kitchen.Working cooperatively in a team environment including maintaining a clean and safe working environment.Facilitating sales in the retail wine & spirits section, with a strong knowledge in the properties and styles of wine across classic wine regions.A strong passion for the hospitality industry with a friendly service focused attitude.A love for being hands on and creating a memorable experience for guests each and every time.A focus on building a rapport in the Wine Bar with our customers and leading our front of house team to provide a high standard of service for each and every guest.Requirements:Extensive background in hospitality, food & wine service.Knowledge of wine is essential. WSET or equivalent courses beneficial.Must be customer service orientated.Weekend work (Friday/Saturday availability are non-negotiable).Evening work with a 9pm close (4-5 Evenings per week).Abide by company policies and procedures at all times.Arrive early and well presented for shifts.Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) is essential.Approved Managers is essential.Must have a keen eye for detail.Flexibility to work in a dynamic and evolving work-space.Must be able to work under pressure and stay calm in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of Japanese cuisine & beverages is beneficial.We urge you to find out a little more about us before applying.
