What are we looking for? We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Men''s Behaviour Change group facilitator to co-facilitate a group on Wednesday evenings 5-10pm in Lilydale, and Monday at Box Hill 7.6 hours The position will undertake tasks including: Co- facilitate Mens Behaviour Change group programs with men for the purpose of supporting them to stop using family violence and to develop responsible and respectful relationships. Work in collaboration with a co-facilitator to prepare and deliver session plans, mid-program and exit interviews with men, make phone calls to engage men, and complete other group administration as required. To Be Successful in this Position You Will Need: Qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling or equivalent area or Graduate Certificate in Family Violence work with practical experience in working with Family Violence. Experience, in working with men who use violence. Group leadership skills and a sound knowledge of violence and abusive behaviours and the impact on family members. Effective written and verbal communication skills. What makes this such a great role for you: You get an hourly rate of around $53.84 plus 25% casual loading SCHCADS award level 6.
