Work Close to Home Job Stability in a GROWING Industry Be recognised for your skills and abilities As the result of an internal promotion, we are excited to be looking for a new Despatch and Inventory Coordinator to join our amazing team based at our Yatala Manufacturing site. The Despatch & Inventory Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that we service our customers by managing the day-to-day outbound freight activities. In addition, the role is responsible for excellence in customer service ensuring we adhere to our Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations and the cost-effective management of all outgoing Freight & pallet movements for the site. You will be reporting to the Warehouse Manager and be an integral part of a team that is fast paced, love what they do, and who enjoy good banter Key responsibilities in this role will include: Transport and Freight Management - including for all outbound finished goods, booking of customer time slots, and managing exceptions Truck Utilisation & Freight Cost Management- Managing freight invoicing including ensure all documentation is managed in accordance to audit requirements. Despatch Management Export Administration - including providing support to the Warehouse Manager and meeting AQIS representatives onsite to sign off Container Documentation CHEP Account Reconciliation Inventory - including stock reconciliation at 5 chill sites, planning replenishment and investigating any variances What will help you succeed Previous experience in a similar role. You may be a Despatch and Inventory Coordinator for a similar sized manufacturing site and see this role as an opportunity to develop your skills or it could be closer to home Keen eye for details with excellent attention-to-detail skills. You may have been an accountant, bookkeeper or in administration in a previous role and love knowing exactly where things should be and when Proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders and to firm deadlines. You are known for getting the job done A passion for what you do - you have a positive energy and even though this role will be (at times) fast paced, you thrive in being part of a team and like to contribute to the teams success.
