In more recent years, this vertically integrated business has expanded into sales, ripening, and processing of produce.Location:Tropical Far North Queensland - just a short 20-minute drive from our head office in Tully, QLD. Transport is available from Tully or Mission Beach to the farms.About the Position:This is a newly created role for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to lead the maintenance operations at our facilities. Working a 4-day week (Tuesday to Friday)Flexible hours and working arrangements available.Open to direct employment or ABN contract work.Reporting to the Manager Mechanical Services, you will:Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issuesProvide technical support and troubleshoot equipmentConduct preventative and breakdown maintenanceInstall, fit and maintain mechanical plant and equipmentComply with Workplace Health and Safety and Environmental legislationTo be successful, you''ll have:Mechanical Trade QualificationExtensive experience with breakdown and preventative maintenance on machineryExperience working in a production environment, particularly in process line or packing operations, desired.Knowledge of agricultural machinery and equipment, desired.A sound understanding and commitment to safe work practicesAbility to fault find, troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issuesStrong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.Does this sound like you?
